The Swinging Air Force is a swing dance troupe many years of experience in providing a wide range of complementary entertainment and instructional services. We can plan an entire event for you, from creating the initial theme and concept to providing the actual entertainment, or we can help you fill in the missing pieces in your party planning.

With experience performing in seven provinces and states across North America, and with numerous competitive accomplishments to our credit, the Swinging Air force has become known in the US and Canada for the troupe's energetic and innovative performances of swing era dances, earning prizes and even standing ovations at top-level swing dance competitions. Dance Instruction

Introducing people to the joy of swing dancing is a specialty of the Swinging Air Force. We can liven a party with a short beginner lesson that will have everyone dancing the night away, even if they've never danced before!

The Swinging Air Force has also taught workshops across the US and Canada, and even travelled to Finland to teach! Known for our success in jump-starting swing dance communities by bringing dancers up to speed in record time, we also teach a wide range of advanced dance topics, such as partner connection, advanced swing technique, performance and aerials. We can tailor classes to any level, and with members specializing in many different areas of swing dancing, as well as dance forms including Salsa, Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary, we can offer instruction to fit the unique needs of your group.

Over the years we've worked with a number of swing and jazz bands, and we're even associated with one of Montreal's favourite swing bands, We can take care of booking a band that you and your guests will be guaranteed to love.

Our internationally acclaimed swing DJ will play your favourite dancing tunes from yesterday and today! Specializing in swing tunes while still able to play a variety of music, we get people on the floor dancing, regardless of age or dance experience. Master of Ceremonies

Our professional MC will add class and pizzazz to your event. Whether it's bringing up the energy level or entertaining the crowd between numbers, our MC will keep things running smoothly to ensure that your event is a success.

Sound System

We can provide a professional-grade sound system and DJ equipment along with our other entertainment services. The equipment includes remote microphone headsets, which we can use for teaching classes to ensure no one misses a thing. Our sound system is also available for rental separately.

Photographer

With a unique flair for capturing live action at the crucial moment, our photographer will bring out the best in you and preserve those unique moments forever. You can get great studio work from Jacques-Edmond Paultre or some live action work from Melanie Marier. Sample their work in the Multimedia section.

Video / Film

Get a record of your event (wedding, product launch, festival...) edited to fit your needs and tailored to your specifications with the possible addition of text, voice or music of course. Contact our team to get top notch video memories... You can sample video work in the Multimedia section.
